Vybond manufactures a wide range of tape types, including duct tape, foil tape, single- and double-coated tape, single- and double-coated foam, double-sided tape, PE film tape, specialty film tape, specialty backing tape, and transfer tape.
Single-coated tape has adhesive on one side only, while double-coated tape has adhesive on both sides. Double-coated tape is used to bond two surfaces together, while single-coated tape is used for sealing, masking, or surface-level applications.
Foam tape has a foam core, which adds cushioning and helps it conform to uneven surfaces. Film tape uses a thin, flat backing, making it better suited for smooth, low-profile bonding.
Transfer tape is pure adhesive with no backing, applied using a release liner. Unlike standard tapes, it adds no bulk, which makes it useful for thin, precise bonding applications.
Foil tape is the standard choice for HVAC duct sealing. It offers heat resistance and a strong, airtight bond on metal ductwork that general-purpose tapes cannot match.
